Canning Class: Boiling Water Canner

June 9, 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. Learn to use a boiling water canner for preserving
fruits, jams and jellies, pickled products, and salsa. Taught by FACS Agent

Pesticide License Test Training

Agent Neil Tarver will provide preparation for the category 24 ornamental and turf
commercial pesticide applicator’s license exam, at UGA Extension/Cobb County, second floor,
678 South Cobb Drive, Marietta, GA, 30060. Lunch on your own. Seating is
limited. Required study manuals “Applying pesticides correctly” ($15) and
“Ornamental and turfgrass pest management” ($25). Class Fee $10. For additional
